About Synkronized
Formed in 2000, Synkronized became one of Europe's top three one-stop shops for independent content within its first 18 months — evolving from sub-distribution into a full production and distribution house, acquiring feature films and documentaries from around the world and releasing them with major partners.
In 2004 the company moved its headquarters to the United States and became an inescapable brand on the independent market — producing and distributing for theatrical, television, VOD, streaming, DVD and festivals across North America.
Milestones along the way include a partnership with eOne in 2006 (80+ releases), Millennium Entertainment in 2012, a production slate with Grindstone (Lionsgate), and a 2016 joint venture with Beijing's Dream Factory Group that produced seven films — including Luce for NEON and five for Lionsgate.
Synkronized has proven that quality independent productions find their audience when strong distribution is coupled with aggressive PR. That formula has kept the company expanding and acquiring market share for more than two and a half decades.
